French group of reception and psychiatric action

The French Group of reception and psychiatric action (GRAAP) is an association of people concerned with the Mental disease. The GRAAP has its seat with Lausanne and has antennas with Montreux, Nyon, Yverdon and Prilly. It was created in 1987.

More than thousand members, more than ten thousand members of Voluntary support, patients, ex-patients, close relations, S, students, professionals of the fields of the Mental health shares the same effort to return the more human Psychiatrie. To better include/understand the psychic disease, to give a direction to its life, to find the means for better living with, creating networks of mutual aid and solidarity, are some of the principles which underlie its actions. In collaboration with the media and of the relays in the company, the GRAAP as works with déstigmatiser the psychic disease, by considering as everyone has a share of Folie. The GRAAP collaborates with the public authorities, which subsidize it, as with official psychiatry.
