French federation of roller-skating

The French federation of roller-skating (FFRS) is the authority managing partic Roller in France. It is affiliated with the Olympic and Sporting National committee French (CNOSF), with the International federation of Roller-Skating (FIRS) and profits from the recognition from the International Olympic committee (CIO).

Creation

Born in 1910, the French federation of Roller-Skating settled with Bordeaux, in the Gironde, near the National center of Drive, established with AQUITANIAN CREPS, with Talence.

Disciplines

The FFRS manages different the Disciplines from the roller, i.e.:

• the artistic Roller
• the Dance in roller
• the Roller speed
• the Excursion in roller
• the lifting Roller
• the Skateboard
• the Rink hockey
• the Roller in line hockey.

It also has as a role the organization of the various championships of France and the technical direction of the teams of France of these disciplines.
