French association of the engineers out of technical equipment

Presentation

The AFIET, French Association of the Engineers out of Technical Equipment, is made up engineers coming from the INSA Strasbourg (National institute of sciences applied of Strasbourg, option BEC Genius Climatic and Energy) and of various Universities, having jointly to have carried out their last year of study at the training center of the COSTIC (Scientific committee and Technique of Climatic Industries).

The AFIET, created in 1964, has the aim of ensuring the scientific and technical improvement of its members, to maintain between its members a mutual assistance, to contribute to the evolution of the " genius climatique" and to establish relations between associations and company doctors working towards the same ends.

It counts approximately a thousand of members.

The actions carried out by the AFIET are the following ones:

Publication of a quarterly letter allowing each one to express themselves and know about the life of the former students.
Publication of job offers in its letter and on its online service.
Edition of its directory.
Organization of the Annual general meeting, national bond with the whole of the members.
Information near the pupils with the COSTIC.
Bonds with the offices of recruitment.
Conference-debates on topics extra-professionals by outside contributors throughout the year following the monthly meetings of the office.
