The Guizhou (贵州, Pinyin : guìzhōu) is a province located at the South of the China. Many ethnic minorities, like the Dong or the Miao live there. The late arrival of the rail connecting it to the Yunnan, the Sichuan and the Guangxi did not allow the exploitation of its mines of Houille and Phosphate. The inhabitants thus remained as a majority of the peasants. One counts 80 ethnic minorities, of which the Miao , the Buyi , the Dong and the Zhuang . She formerly formed part of old of the old kingdom of Yelang.
