Free republic of Wendland

The free République of Wendland is a parody created in May 1980 by approximately a thousand of militants ecologists and antinuclear in the area of Gorleben in the Land of Lower Saxony.

Gorleben is the stock room of the nuclear waste chosen by the German government.
