Free management of Information technology infrastructure
GLPI is a management software of Helpdesk and information technology infrastructure distributed under license LPG. The project was launched in 2003 and is currently with version 0.68.
Presentation
GLPI is presented in the form of an interface Web, developed in. Its functionalities cover- Inventaire of the printing and consumable computers , peripherals, network, associated. In particular thanks to an interfacing with OCS inventory
- Management of the licenses (acquired, to acquire, sites, oem.) and of the scratch dates.
- Assignment of the material by geographical area (room, stage…), by user groups and users.
- commercial and financial Information management (purchase, guarantee and extension, damping).
- Management of the states of material.
- Management of the requests for control for all the types of material of the inventory.
- Management of planning and export to the Ical format for Personal assistant
- Interface to allow the end user to deposit a request for control.
- Business management, contracts, documents related to the elements of inventories…
- Reservation of material
- Management of a basic system of knowledge hierarchical (FAQ), management of a FAQ public.
- Generation of reports/ratios on the material, network reports/ratios, reports/ratios on the interventions.
Moreover, GLPI present many plugins coming to add other functionalities to the list present.
