Free State of Ireland
The free State of Ireland (in English Irish Free State and in Irish Saorstát Éireann ) was of 1922 with 1937 the name of the State including/understanding the 26 counties which separated from the the United Kingdom after the signature of the Anglo-Irish Treaty (Traité of London) the December 6th 1921.
The free State of Ireland entered in activity in December 1922, replacing the two rival governmental entities which cohabited: Ireland of the south ( creation of swears ) created by the Government off Ireland Act of 1920 and controlled by Michael Collins and the Irish République ( creation de facto ) under the presidency of Arthur Griffith, President of Dáil Éireann. In August 1922, the two States amalgamate after the death of their respective leaders, the two presidencies being taken simultaneously by W.T. Cosgrave.
The structures of the free State of Ireland were installation by the Traité of London of the December 6th 1921, say also “Treated Anglo-Irish” and in the Constitution off the Irish Free State Act . It is a Constitutional monarchy, with a Parliament, called the Oireachtas, consisted of three parts: the King and two rooms, Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann. The executive is held by the King and is exerted with the daily newspaper by a cabinet called the Executive council and chaired by a Prime Minister called President of the Executive council .
