The Free State Cheetahs (Cheetahs) are a South-African team of Rugby to XV which takes part each year in the Currie Cup. She plays out of orange and white and evolves/moves with Vodacom Park or Free State Stadium of Bloemfontein. The club should not be confused with the Central Cheetahs which evolve/move in the Super 14, to which it provides however the essence of its players as well as the infrastructures (seat, administration, stage) and the sporting framing.
History
Founded in 1895 to represent the free State of Orange in the Currie Cup, the club forever be large of South-African Rugby. It must wait until 1973 to dispute its first final and 1976 for finally registering its name with the prize list.
