Free Line
the Free Line is a movement Politique French associated with the UMP directed by Rachid Kaci, her president, and Alexandre Del Valle, his vice-president.
The purpose of the Free Line is to incarnate the current liberal-conservative of UMP. Its liberal influences and souverainists are important: Rachid Kaci is resulting from liberal Démocratie and Alexandre Del Valle was close to the Rassemblement for France of Charles Pasqua.
The November 17th 2002, at the time of the constituent assembly of UMP, the Free Line presents a ticket for the presidency of this party: Rachid Kaci is candidate with the presidency, Alexandre Del Valle candidate with the vice-presidency and Monique Boury (resulting from the UDF) is candidate with the general secretary. They obtain 3,17% (1500 votes).
Rachid Kaci was candidate with the nomination of the UMP for the French presidential Election of 2007 but finally gave up being presented, to give its support for the candidature of Nicolas Sarkozy.
The deputies Yannick Favennec, White Etienne and François d' Aubert are members. Jerome Rivière, appointed the Alpes-Maritimes left the Free Line in 2006, judging that “its operation is connected more with that of a militant association than to that of a political party” . It joined CNI.
The May 26th 2003, the free line is condemned in réferré following a call to the Email-bombing trade-union organizations
