Free Germany committee for the West
The free Comité Germany for West (CALPO) is a committee of the French interior Résistance charged to organize the " German work " (MT) which in particular consisted in recruiting deserters of the Wehrmacht and to obtain information for the resistance movements. The CALPO was officially recognized in 1944 like movement of French Resistance. The organization diffused since the summer 1941 a newspaper for the German soldiers: Soldier im Westen (" Soldier in the West ").
