Free Frattini

Franco Frattini is a Politician Italy N member of the party Forza Italia (regarded as center-right). It is European police chief , in charge with Justice and the Interior matters since the November 23rd 2004.

Biography

Free Frattini, born with Rome the March 14th 1957, made studies of right at the conclusion which it began a career of administrative magistrate. It occupied the post of commissioner government in 1981 in Rome, then judge at the regional administrative court of the Piedmont and was named Conseiller of State in 1986.

During years which followed this nomination, he was operations manager for various governments and occupied even the post of general vice-secretary of the government Ciampi at the sides of Andrea Manzella.

In May 1994, Frattini is named General secretary of the Government and in January 1995 Lamberto Dini takes it as Minister for the Public office and the regional Businesses in the government which succeeded that of Silvio Berlusconi (where Lamberto Dini was Minister of Finances).

In 1996, Frattini is elected with the House of Commons under the label Forza Italia (center-right), with the majority poll in the Trentin-Haut-Adige. It is beaten in the same district by Gianclaudio Bressa (Secretary of State of the Amato government) but it obtains all the same a seat thanks to the poll proportional.

It is named with the Foreign affairs the November 13rd 2002 following the long interim of Silvio Berlusconi. Because of the failure of Rocco Buttiglione as appointed police chief, it is indicated to replace it the November 4th 2004 at the post of police chief in charge with Justice and the Interior matters. According to Buttiglione, Frattini is a freemason.

It belongs to the Signataires of the Constitution for Europe.

According to its declaration of interest, it is currently, inter alia, president appointed of the Free Foundation for Research one European Economy (FREE) and chair association The Circle; member of the general advice of the Institute Italian Aspen, member of the Rotary Club and member with in an individual capacity of the Institute off International Affairs (IIA).

Topicality

September 10th, 2007, Franco Frattini declared during an interview at Reuters whom it was going to launch of the consultations in order to prohibit the use of the words " bombe" , " tuer" , " génocide" or " terrorisme" on Internet.
