Free Caprioli

Franco Caprioli is a Dessinateur and Scénariste Italian of cartoons, born in 1912 with Mompeo in Italy, died in 1974.

He was the draftsman and scenario writer of the majority of his cartoons. After a short career of painter in the Thirties, it begins at the same time as creation from It Vittorioso in 1937 and it will belong to the staff of the review during three decades! It is this magazine which publishes its first data base Gino E Piero in 1937. For It Vittorioso, it produces very many bands between 1948 and 1964: " Mino Dario E C" (1947/48), " Elefante sacro" (The elephant crowned in 1949), " Una strana avventura" (1954), Dakota Jim (1954) which one can read in the small sheriff, Rintintin and Rusty at Sagédition or in Urka and Parade of the data base to the editions of the Ramparts, " Bianco Stendardo" (1958), " Yukon Selvaggio" (Wild Yukon in 1960), etc One finds the majority of the series of Caprioli in France in Impressing It, with the editions Impéria (Targa, Garry and Super Servant boy), bold Coq, with the editions of the Ramparts, at Sagédition, etc But It Vittorioso is in lose speed and passes through a crisis, also Caprioli is it constrained to work for England and France between 1963 and 1969 signing in particular for the editions Aventures and Voyages the White Patrol on texts of Lécureux between 1965 and 1967 (diffused in Lancelot, Lord, Keeps of It and Carabina Slim). He forsakes a time the cartoon to return there only in 1969, in particular for He Giornalino in which he produces various short accounts and adapts traditional novels: Moby Dick, Michel Stroggof, 15 year old Captain, 8 days on a raft, a descent in the Maelstrom, Insulated It Misterioso in 1971 (scenario of Claudio Nizzi), It corriere dello zar in 1973 (text of Roudolph) and Figli del Capitano Grant in 1974 (text of Roudalph). But this production is brutally stopped by its death in 1974.
