Frederick Carl Rieseke

Frederick Carl Frieseke (April 7th 1874 - August 24th 1939) was an impressionist painter American.

He was born in Owosso, in the Michigan and studied with the Art Institute off Chicago and with the Académie Julian of Paris. With its family he lived during fourteen years with Giverny, where also Monet lived. He had a great influence on the American local one, where many had been marked by the Middle West American.
