Frederic de Pluvoise

Frederic de Pluvoise , was the 55e bishop of Metz, of 1171 with 1173. It seems that Pluvoise is an old name of the current commune of Beuvezin.

He becomes archdeacon in Metz before 1165. Indeed, the July 8th of this year, Leucarde, widow of Milon de Pluvoise, gives to House-God Toul six arpents of ground and glazing bar named Rochette, depend on the franc-freehold of Pluvoise, with the assent of Frederic de Pluvoise, archdeacon of Metz, brother of Milon.

With died of Thierry de Bar, the clergy and the people of Metz choose it as bishop. In 1172, it acquires of the village of Ennery for its diocese.
