Frederic de Mecklembourg-Schwerin
Frederic de Mecklembourg-Schwerin or Frederic-Louis de Mecklembourg-Schwerin , Friedrich Ludwig von Mecklenburg-Schwerin in German (June 13rd 1778 with Ludwigslust - November 29th 1819 with Ludwigslust), was a hereditary prince (i.e. a prince heir ) of the Grand-duché of Mecklembourg-Schwerin, one of the States constitutive of the German Confédération.
Family
Frederic-Louis is the son of Frederic-François Ier de Mecklembourg-Schwerin, Large-duke of Mecklembourg-Schwerin and Louise of Saxony-Gotha.
- It marries (with the Gatchina close to Saint-Pétersbourg) on October 12th 1799 (on October 23rd, 1799 in the Calendrier Julien then still of use in Russia under the name of old style ), the large-duchess Éléna Pavlovna of Russia girl of the tsar Paul Ier of Russia. From this union will be born:
- Paul-Frederic de Mecklembourg-Schwerin (1800 - 1842) Large-duke of Mecklembourg-Schwerin, in 1822, it married Alexandrine of Prussia (1803 - 1892)
- Marie de Mecklembourg-Schwerin (1803 - 1862), in 1825 she marries Georges of Saxony (death in 1853).
- Widowed, it married in 1810 Caroline of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach (dead in 1816). From this union will be born three children:
- Albert de Mecklembourg-Schwerin (1812 - 1834)
- Helene de Mecklembourg-Schwerin (1814 - 1858), in 1837 it married Ferdinand-Philippe of Orleans (1810 - 1842) oldest son of Louis-Philippe Ier
- Magnus de Mecklembourg-Schwerin (1815 - 1816)
- Again widowed, he married in 1818 Augusta de Hesse-Hombourg.
