Frederic VI of Bade-Durlach (Friedrich VI von Baden-Durlach), born the November 16th 1617 with the castle of Durlach, deceased the January 10th 1677 with the castle of Durlach.

Biography
In 1663, the Turks invaded the Hungary, Léopold Ier of the Holy roman Empire organized the defense of the Empire by creating an army. It called upon Frederic VI of Bade-Durlach which took part in this war against the Turks. Frederic VI of Bade-Durlach also took part in the seat of the fortress of Philippsburg in 1676. This fortress was integrated thereafter into the margravat of Bade-Durlach (1676).
Frederic VI of Bade-Durlach belonged to the fourth branch of the Maison of Bade, itself resulting from the first branch of the ducal House of Bade. He belonged to the line of Bade-Durlach known as lignée' Ernestine' founded by Ernest de Bade-Durlach this line always existing is currently represented by the prince Maximilien de Bade.
