Frederic Soulié

Frederic Soulié is a novelist and French dramatic author, born with Foix on December 23rd 1800, died with Bièvre on September 23rd 1847.

Biography

Wire of an employee of the Contributions, Frederic Soulié lived in various provincial towns before coming to make studies of right to Paris. There, it engages in various political activities and is constrained outward journey teminer its studies with Rennes. It enters the Administration then, with Laval.

But, in 1824, it resigns to return to Paris. Attracted by the literary circle, it starts to publish some poems and finds an use of director of a sawmill which enables him to ensure its susbistance.

In 1828, it is pointed out by a translation of Romeo and Juliette, played Odéon. He becomes journalist, and publishes news.

Success arrives in 1832 with a play, Clothilde , and a novel, the Two Corpses . It publishes then quantity of novels, news and plays.

At the time as celebrates as Balzac or Eugene Sue, its most known work is the Memories of the Devil .
