Frederic Pottecher

Frederic Pottecher was born on June 11th 1905 with Bussang the Vosges and died in Paris on November 13rd 2001. Legal chronicler, writer and large opponent with the Capital punishment, it covers all the great lawsuits of the twentieth century.

Biography

Frederic, Hughes Pottecher is born in Bussang. The origins of its family are with Fontenoy-the-Castle. Its great-grandfather Antoine Benjamin Pottecher, metal worker of his state, bought a forging mill with Bussang, where it will establish a factory of covers on the model of those of the valley of the Côney. He is the fourth child of Georges Pottecher, industrialist, and of Germaine Wapler.

He makes his studies at the Alsatian School and the Faculty of Law of Paris, then at the Private school of Political sciences.

He will contract two marriages. The first with Sonia Rapoport-Kreinine of which it becomes widowed, then on August 27th 1965 it marries Andrée Jazotte.

Frederic Pottecher resided in the middle of Paris, street of Valois in the first district, its hobbies are the theater and the history. He dies with the Hospital of Paris in 2001, he was 96 years old.

Theater and cinema

His/her uncle Maurice Pottecher had founded the Theater of the people in 1895, a new concept where professional actors amateurs and actors played on the same scene. Journalism

In 1938 and 1939 he is writer with Paris Soir . He is leader-writer with Radio-Raising to Beirut during the years of war in 1943 and 1944.

It is in 1945 that it begins as legal chronicler with the French Radiodiffusion, which will become French Broadcasting-television in 1949.
