Frederic Péchenard
Born on March 12th, 1957 with Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine), Frederic Péchenard is a police superintendent. He was named on May 23rd, 2007 Managing director of the national police force.
He was allowed with the external assistance of police superintendent in 1981 and made all his career in the Parisian judicial police. He, inter alia, was affected with the 2nd division of judicial police then to the drug squad and then to the research brigade and of intervention (BIS, anti gang). Appointed chief of the repression brigade of banditism (B.R.B.) in 1996, it succeeded Martine Monteil with the head of the murder squad in 2000.
Promoted under director in load of the economic affairs and financial always within the Parisian judicial police, it is finally named by Nicolas Sarkozy of which he is a friend of childhood, Directeur of the Judicial police of the Police headquarter in June 2006. He is the author of the detective novel " Trap for a cop " with Luc Jacob-Duvernet published in 2003 at Anne Carrière.
The ONG Privacy International decreed to him in 2006 a Big Brother Awards to express its dissension with its public standpoint in favor of the national Fichier automated of the genetic prints.
