Frederic Premysl (Czech Bedřich ) prince de Bohême of 1172 with 1173 and of 1178 with 1189

Oldest son of the king Valdislav I which abdicates in its favor in 1172 but, following a dynastic conflict, it is deposited in September 1173. He is prince suzerain de Bohême of 1178 á his death the March 25th 1189.

Imposed on the throne of Bohemia in the name of the principle of the Primogeniture, but without the prior agreement of the diet of noble Czech nor the downstream of the emperor, Frederic enters in conflict with wire of its great-uncle Sobeslav Ier, Oldrich and Venceslas which obtain the support of Frederic Barberousse, which deposits it in 1173 and names Oldrich which withdraws with the profit of his/her older brother Sobeslav II. Benefitting from a conflict between Sobeslav II and the emperor, Frederic makes sure of the support of this one, raises an army and demolishes his cousin at the time of the battles of Lodenice then of Prague.

Applicant the currency " to divide for better regner" , the emperor names the bishop of Prague, Bretislav Jindřich, in addition cousin of Frederic, imperial Prince , making of him vassal direct as well as the prince of Bohemia. For a time, the grounds of the crown of Bohemia remain divided between évêché of Prague, Bohemia and Moravie, then under the domination of the Margrave Konrád Ota of a branch junior by the dynasty of Premysl.

Frederic dies the March 25th 1189 and the Margrave of Moravie succeeds to him under the name of Conrad II.
