Frederic François Victor de Diesbach

" Frédéric" François Victor Auguste, count de Diesbach Torny , middle-class man of Freiburg, born with the Castle of Torny (Swiss) the August 3rd 1741 and deceased single person in 1815.

After having been page of the Elector Palatine with Mannheim in 1752, it passes to the service of France where it is ensign with the regiment of the Swiss Gardes in 1757. Thereafter he is assistant medical officer (1762), colonel (1771), captain with the Swiss Guards (1783) then sergeant (1784), knight of Saint-Louis, and brigadier (1788). He is also Membre of the Council of the Two hundreds in Freiburg since 1763.

Frederic is wire of Jean, prince de Diesbach, lieutenant-colonel with the service of Austria, and Anne-Marie de Montenach.
