Frederic Demontfaucon

Biography

Born on December 24th 1973 with the Creusot (71), the small last of a family of three children, Frederic Demontfaucon passes his childhood to Avallon where its decisive meeting with the Judo will be done at the age of five years and half. He is very quickly discovered a passion devouring for this sport, not hesitating to connect all the drives during the same evening.

The meetings with a.Parisi Champions, F.Canu, M.Alexandre will nourish its ambitions.

After obtaining its Vat E to the second attempt, it starts its university course with the UFR STAPS of Dijon. But as of the following year, because of its 3rd place to the Championships of France Juniors, it integrates INSEP. In 1995, it makes its first great international experiment: championships of the World with Chiba (Japan). It then finishes 5th, against any waiting, podium lack little vis-a-vis N.Gill (EDGE) future fellow-member the following year with the PSG.

Year 96 is remembered by one dyed season in half, it is isolated Olympic race.

Years 97 and 98 are synonymous for him with wounds (cross ligaments of the left knee then right). It benefits from it to start studies of kinesitherapy. It becomes then for the first time champion of France the 1st division in 1998, then 1999,2000 and 2001.

The year 2000 is a great wine: bronze medal gained with the Olympic Games of Sydney.

The dedication will come the following year to the Championships from the world from Munich (ALL) where it takes down the crown. Today, it joined the Stade Toulousain.
