Frederic Bartlett (1886 - 1969) is a British Psychologue . Precursor of the cognitive Psychology, it is in particular known for its work on the memory and the concept of Schéma.
Biography
Frederic Bartlett was born in October 1886 with Stow-one-tea-Wold a small town from Gloucestershire. Suffering from pleurisy, it stops its schooling after the elementary school and studies at the house. It follows courses of philosophy, sociology and ethics of the university of London from which it obtains a Master off Arts in 1911. It then decides to be registered in Cambridge and to resume studies of first cycle in psychology.
