Frederic Amouretti

Frederic Amouretti (1863-1903), Poet, militant Monarchist of the French Action and Nationalist French.

Biography

Near to the Félibrige (around Frederic Mistral) and to the Romance School (around Jean Moréas), Amouretti was a close relation of Charles Maurras. It militated with this last in favor of the Fédéralisme and the idea of Décentralisation. In the same time, he collaborates in the Rosette of Maurice Barrès; he was also one of the first writers of the Revue French Action before dying prematurely.
