Frederic-Joachim Stengel
Frederic-Joachim Stengel (1694 - 1787), architect of the duke of Gotha, the prince-abbots Constantin de Buttlar and Adolphe de Dalberg then princes of Nassau-Usingen and Saarbrucken-Sarrewerden.
He was director of constructions ( " Baudirektor" ) of the princes of Nassau. It carried out the construction of the churches of Berg, Lorentzen, Diemeringen and Harskirchen.
In 1766 the prince Guillaume-Henri of Nassau-Saarbrucken, makes build 6 Protestant churches in the county of Sarrewerden, in order to guarantee the harmony and peace between the two confessions (catholic and Protestant woman). They are the churches of Harskirchen, Wolfskirchen, Weyer, Berg, Lorentzen and Oermingen.
Some of these churches, (as that of Harskirchen) were actually built by Dodel, a pupil of Stengel.
