Frederic-Eugene of Wurtemberg
Frederic-Eugene of Wurtemberg (born the January 21st 1732 with Stuttgart, deceased the December 23rd 1797 with Hohenheim) was duke of Wurtemberg of 1795 with 1797, after the death of his/her brother Louis-Eugene de Wurtenberg. It thus acquired the title (posthumous) of Friedrich II Eugen Heinrich Herzog von Württemberg .
He was the youngest child of wire of the duke Charles-Alexandre of Wurtemberg and Marie-Auguste von Thurn und Taxis.
His/her children are at the origin of the five branches of the Maison of Wurtemberg.
Descent
Frederic-Eugene marries in 1750 Dorothée-Sophie de Brandebourg-Schwedt, girl of Frederic Guillaume de Brandebourg-Schwedt, Margrave of Brandebourg-Schwedt and Sophie of Prussia niece of Frederic II. From their marriage, were going to be born 12 children: 8 boys and 4 girls. The elder one of the girls Sophie-Dorothée of Wurtemberg will become empress of all Russies while marrying, in 1776, the tsarevitch Paul, wire of the tsar Pierre III and the tsarina Catherine II of Russia. The junior was married with the Emperor François II but died young person and without surviving descent.

Louis Frederic of Wurtemberg (1756 - 1817), general in the Prussian army. In 1784 it contracted unre morganatic union with the catholic princess Marie Czartoryski (1768 - 1854) which it divorced in 1793. In 1797 it married Henriette von Nassau-Weilbourg (dead in 1857). It founded the branch, morganatic, known as Teak dukes.

Eugene Frederic of Wurtemberg (1758 - 1822), duke of Wurtemberg-Stutgart, which was general of cavalry in the Prussian army (third branch).

Sophie-Dorothée of Wurtemberg (1759 - 1828), married in 1776 with the Tsar Paul Ier of Russia and mother of the tsars Alexandre Ier and Nicolas Ier.

Guillaume-Frederic-Philippe of Wurtemberg (1761 - 1830), which founded the morganatic branch of the House of Wurtemberg, known as branch of the dukes of Urach, claiming with the princely throne of Monaco.

Ferdinand of Wurtemberg (1763 - 1834), duke of Wurtemberg, in 1795 it married Albertine von Schwarzburg (1771 - 1829), it divorced in 1801, 1817 it married Pauline von Metternich (1771 - 1855) (girl of François von Metternich).
