Frederic-Auguste Ier of Saxony
Frederic-Auguste of Saxony , known as the Juste (December 23rd 1750 - May 5th 1827) was voter of Saxony, then, under the name of Frederic-Auguste 1st , king de Saxe of the August 6th 1806 with the May 5th 1827.

There refused in 1791 the throne of Poland which was offered to him and remained neutral as much as he could it during the wars of the French revolution.
Grandson of the king de Pologne Auguste III, it was of 1807 to 1815 duke of Warsaw (Fryderyk August I) by the will of Napoleon. He one of most faithful was combined of the Emperor in his wars against the Prussia and the Russia. He had married in 1769 Amélie, Comtesse palatine of Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld, of which he had a girl, the Princess Maria Augusta of Saxony (1782-1863).
To punish it its fidelity, the Alliés treated it in 1813 as prisoner of war and removed to him in 1815 the Duché of Warsaw, as well as part of its hereditary States: it was with large pains that it could preserve its throne.
He died in 1827, regretted its subjects.
