Fred Zinnemann

Fred Zinnemann is a producing Réalisateur and Austrian, born the April 29th 1907 with Vienna (Austria) and deceased of an heart attack the March 14th 1997 with London (the United Kingdom). It obtained twice the Oscar of the best realizer: in 1954 for its drama choral on the Second world war As long as there will be men ( from Here to Eternity ), then in 1967 for its biography of Thomas Moore: a Man for eternity ( has Man for All Seasons ). These two works in addition received the Oscar of the best film.

It realized in particular what is regarded today as a chief of work of the Western, kind however at the time declining: the train will whistle three times , in 1952, with Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly.
