Franz Steinegger
Franz Steinegger is a Juriste and Politician Suisse born the March 8th 1943 with Flüelen, canton of Uri. He was president of the radical-democratic Parti 1989 with 2001 and Expo02.
Franz Steinegger began her political career in 1973 at the Municipal council from Flüelen, of which he was mayor of 1983 with 1986. It made its entry with the National council in 1980. It sits until in 2003 there.
In 1989, Franz Steinegger was unfortunate candidate at the Federal council vis-a-vis Kaspar Villiger.
It is called " Katastrophen-Franz" because of its engagement as chief of the staff of crisis of the canton of Uri at the time of the bad weather of 1977 and 1987.
It chaired the board of directors of Suva and the Swiss Federation of tourism.
