Franz Lehár
Franz Lehár (° April 30th 1870, Komárno - † October 24th 1948, Bad Ischl), is an Austrian type-setter of Hungarian origin. He is famous for his Opérette S, whose most known is the merry Widow ( Die lustige Witwe ), represented for the first time at Vienna in 1905. One retains also the Country of the smile ( Das Land of Lächelns ).
