Franz Jonas , born the October 4th 1899 and deceased the April 24th 1974, was a Austrian Politician . He was mayor of Vienna, then president of the Republic of Austria of 1965 with 1974 (re-elected).

He had learned the Esperanto like socialist militant and usually spoke it.
