Franz Böhm

Franz Böhm (February 16th, 1895 - September 26th, 1977) was a lawyer, economist and German politician, member of CDU. It is one of the principal representatives of the Ordolibéralisme and the social economy of market.

Its work on the monopolies and the trusts enables him to obtain a post of teacher of university. He taught in particular at the university of Freiburg as from 1933 and played a great part in resistance to the Nazis, surviving only because of a confusion of names.

He joined CDU in 1945 and is minister of religion of the Land of Hesse in 1945.
