Frantz the Jordan

Frantz the Jordan , born on October 3rd, 1847 with Antwerp, deceased (E) in 1935 in Paris, is a Critic Architecte, art and French man of letters (naturalization).

Biography

In 1866, it enters to the Daumet workshop to the School of the Art schools of Paris.

From 1883 to 1902, it makes carry out work of adaptation of the existing buildings of Samaritaine, It organizes work of the castles of Chougnes and Bouffement, restores that of the Rock-Guyon, works on investment properties Rue Galileo, Rue Hamelin, Rue of the Fountain-of-Goal, carries out the store of decorations of the Théâtre of the Innovations, Rue Marcadet, for Mr Micheau.

In 1903, he is the founder and the president of the Living rooms of Fall. From 1903 to 1907, it builds the Store n°2 of Samaritaine, and in 1910, it renovates the store n°1. From 1910 to 1912, it built the building of the Sower Rue of Louvre, and two years later, the store of Samaritaine of luxury, jewels of the Art nouveau, Boulevard of the Nasturtiums. From 1922 to 1928, it realizes with Henri Sauvage, the enlarging towards the Seine of the store n°2 of Samaritaine, and 1930 to 1932, the stores n°3 and 4.
