Fransaskois

Fransaskois is a Mot-valise to designate the inhabitants Francophone S of the Canadian province of the Saskatchewan.

Population

Most famous Fransaskoise is Jeanne Sauvé, born with Prud'homme. She was Député E liberal, Ministre, president of the House of Commons of Canada and finally general gouverneure of Canada. The Giant Edouard Beaupré is character a native mythical Bunch Willow having evolved/moved in the circus Barnum & Bailey. He is known thanks to the song of the popular group Québécois Beau Dommage and his song “the skeleton of the Giant Bowsprit”.

In the field of Art, Fransaskois most famous are undoubtedly the musical group Binder-Red and Carmen Campagne which comes both from the small town of Willow Bunch, the sculptor Jos Fafard, the painter Wilf Perreault, the writer Jean Féron (Zénon Park), the playwright Laurier Gareau (Bellevue), the group the Racquette in Claquette and the singer and poet Michel Marchildon (Zénon Park).
