Frans B. Mr. de Waal , Ph.D. (born in 1948 with Utrecht, Netherlands) a psychological , primatologist and ethologist. He is professor in the study of the Comportement of the Primates at the department of Psychologie of the Université of Emory to Atlanta and he is director of the Living Links Center with the Yerkes National Primate Research Center and author of many books including/understanding the policy of the chimpanzee , Of the reconciliation in the primates and the monkey in us .

The principal contribution of this researcher is the description of the phenomenon of Réconciliation at many species of primates after a conflict interaction, aptitude which one imagined before held for the mankind.
