Frans Viljoen
François “Frans” Viljoen , born the October 22nd 1982 in Ficksburg (South Africa), is a player of Rugby to XV South-African which evolves/moves at the station of third line centers or wing within the manpower of the French Stade Paris (1,89 m for 107 kg).
After having begun in Currie Cup for the province from the Western Transvaal, it engages in 2005 with the Griquas where is elected better player of the year in 2006. In parallel, it belongs to the manpower of the Free State Cheetahs, which plays the Super 14 in 2006.
In November 2006, it is recruited by the French Stade CASG like medical joker to mitigate the serious wound of its compatriot Shaun Sowerby. Arrived the November 7th 2006 at Paris, it begins the November 11th with the Stade Jean-Bouin at the time of a match from the Top 14 against the KNOWN Agen (31-8) and registers a test after 37 minutes.
