The Franklin Médaille is a scientific distinction decreed by the Franklin Institut in the honor of Benjamin Franklin. It rewards for the people whose work is useful for humanity, made progress science, opened new research fields, and improved our comprehension of the universe. It is annually decreed in April with Philadelphia. It was replaced in 1998 by the Médaille Benjamin Franklin.
