The sausage of Frankfurt is a smoked Saucisse précuite, originating in Germany.
Traditionally made of a fine paste of Pig, she knows several variations today. The French sausage under beige bowel can contain Bœuf and Veau whereas the American version, the famous sausage with Hot-dog, can contain mechanically separated meat, by-products of pig or ox as well as sweetening substance S, Aromate S and additives. She contains up to fat contents 30%.
