Frank Worrell
Sir Frank Mortimer Maglinne Worrell (born the 1 {{er}} August 1924, deceased the March 13rd 1967) was a Barbadian cricketer . It disputed its first test for the team of the Western Indies in 1948. It was a gifted beater.
He was captain of the selection of the Western Indies and was anobli in 1964.
He was with Clyde Walcott and Everton Weekes one of the " 3W" : three talented beaters of the team of the Western Indies, born at 18 months of variation in Barbados and which did all their beginning in 1948 against the team of England.
It gave its name to the Frank Worrell Trophy, trophy given to the winner of the series of tests between the Western Indies and the team of Australia.
