Frank Wall

Frank Wall is a Médecin - military and a British herpetologist , born the April 21st 1868 with Colombo with Ceylon and dead the May 19th 1950 with Bournemouth in the Dorset.

His/her father is an important politician of Ceylon which initiates it the first with the Natural history. Wall studies the Médecine with London. It enters in Indian Medical Service in 1893 and is sent in India the following year. It remains there until its retirement in 1925, date on which it is withdrawn in Great Britain.

During its service, it collects many snakes in many areas of India. During the First World War, it is in service in the British task force in Iraq. To its return, it offers its collections to the British Museum.

It publishes more than 200 scientific articles whose book has Popular Treatise one the Common Indian Snakes .
