Frank Vandenbroucke , born the November 6th 1974 with Mouscron (Belgium), is a professional cyclist Belgian which adds up 54 victories of which traditional the Liege-Bastogne-Liege in 1999. He is the nephew of the professional racing cyclist, and sport director Jean-Luc Vandenbroucke. His/her father was mechanic of cyclist team.
Biography

In 2001, it signs a contract with the team cyclist Lampre. It almost does not run and does not involve itself any more. Lampre does not renew its contract. It is recruited at the end of August by the Italian team. Meanwhile, it again makes speak about him taking part about it in an Italian cyclosportive test, for which it presents a false license in the name of " Francesco Del Ponte" , provided with a photograph of Tom Boonen!

Thursday March 21st 2002, the disciplinary commission of the Belgian velocypedic Ligue (LVB) suspends it for one six months duration (of the March 22nd 2002 until the September 21st 2002) for infringement with the legislation on the detention of doping products. It is also condemned to pay a fine of 10.000 Swiss francs. ”
