Frank Sedgman

Frank Allan Sedgman (born the October 29th 1927 with Mont Albert is a tennis player of the Années 1950.

During four years, of 1949 with 1952 it gained 22 titles of the Grand Slam as simple, double Sirs, and double mixed, that is to say three less than John Newcombe and six less than Roy Emerson (which them, exploited longer periods).

In 1951, it carried out the Grand Slam as double Sirs with his partner Ken McGregor. It was the dominant force in the first three years of the Australian domination of the Coupe Davis in which they gained 15 victories over one 17 years period, of 1950 with 1967.

Sedgman was incorporated in the International Tennis Hall off Famed of Newport (Rhode Island) in 1979.
