Frank Schätzing

Frank Schätzing is a German author of Science-fiction born with Cologne in 1957.

Biographical note

Frank Schätzing studied sciences of the communication and worked as directing of an advertizing agency of Cologne from which he is the confondator: INTEVI . With the beginning of the year 1990, it took its first steps of writer. After some satires and various new, it is in (1995 that it publishes its first novel: Tod und Teufel ( death and the devil ). In 2000 appears its second novel, a thriller political heading Lautlos ( In silence ). In 2004, its thriller of Science fiction entitled Der Schwarm in French " the essaim" is a very great success and quickly becomes a best-seller.
