Frank Peter Zimmermann is a German Violoniste born with Duisbourg the February 27th 1965.
It is one of the largest German violonists of the moment. Its discography for Sony or Emi made him traverse the whole of the traditional repertory. It occurs very regularly under the direction of prestigious leaders: Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Muti, Christoph Eschenbach, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Bernard Haitink… in company of worthy formations: Orchestra of Paris, Wiener Philharmoniker, Berliner Philharmoniker, Staatskapelle Dresden…
