Frank País

Frank Isaac País García (born the December 7th 1934 with Santiago of Cuba; died the July 30th 1957 with Santiago of Cuba) was leading studying reformist, professor and cuban revolutionist who fought against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista integrating the Movimiento 26 of Julio. Its assassination by the police force in the streets of Santiago whereas it was 22 years old raised a wave of protest in all the country and was a decisive event in the beginning of the cuban Révolution. Regarded in Cuba as Martyr of the revolution.
