Frank Eugene To twist

Frank Eugene Corder (May 26th 1956 - September 12th 1994) is the man who was crushed on the ground surrounding the White House, with Washington, early the September 12th 1994, with a plane stolen Cessna 150, while apparently trying to enter in collision with the building. To twist was crushed on the lawn with its apparatus. It was the only victim of the accident.

Commit suicide

To twist was a veteran of the US Army and a truck-driver with unemployment, resident of Perry Point, Maryland. His wife died of a cancer a few months before the incident. Friends of Frank Eugene Corder mentioned that it had never expressed particular animosity with regard to the President of the United States of the time, Bill Clinton. The president was absent besides from White House this day, restorations having obliged his family to remain temporarily with Blair House, where are usually placed the presidential guests.

It seems that the gesture of Frank Eugene Corder was justified by despair, by publicity that such an event was going to get to him. Its death is regarded as being a Suicide.

To twist was moreover in advanced state of intoxication when it stole the Cessna in the night of September 11th, 1994, with the Aéroport Aldino, in the Maryland.

The plane manually-controlled by Corder was located by the technicians radar several minutes before crushing on the southern lawn of the White House, with 1:39 precise. Frank Eugene Corder died on the blow.

The incident led the White House to revalue its security measures, since Corder apparently could without problem enter an air zone with restriction. It was indicated that the United States Secret Service had deployed ground-to-air missiles, but they were not used.
