Franconie
Franconie is a geographical and historical area center of the Germany. It is located for its major part in north of the Bavaria, where it corresponds to the administrative areas ( Regierungsbezirke ) of Low-Franconie Average-Franconie ( Mittelfranken ), ( Unterfranken ) and High-Franconie ( Oberfranken ).

Gastronomy
Franconie is at the same time an wine-producing area (the Frankenwein ) and large producing of beers. The principal specialities are:- Karpfen blau or gebacken (carpus with blue or the furnace)
- Sauerbraten (ox braised with a bitter-sweet sauce and been useful with red cabbage. The meal is often accompanied by cold by cranberries. To sauce one adds a kind of gingerbread.)

Above all, the Frankenalb , the Fichtelgebirge , the Fränkische Schweiz and the Steigerwald are crossed by many hiking trails. Rivers, like the Pegnitz or Wiesent are regularly attended by canoeists. A network of cycle tracks was created along some rivers, such as for example the Main or the Tauber . Concerning the climbing of rock, the Fränkische Schweiz account among the most popular areas of Germany.
