Francoise Sampermans

Francoise Sampermans , born on July 10th 1947 with Paris, is a French personality of the business world.

Biography

Holder of a control of letters and a control of social psychology, Francoise Sampermans intended himself for the profession of teaching. However, its destiny called it towards autes ways. It was quickly called, by an easy pun, the Superwoman of the press .

She assumed responsibilities in the field for the Communication within the group Alcatel (Telecom) for 1974 to 1987. She becomes then communications director of the Alcatel-Alsthom group, of 1987 to 1991. Francoise Sampermans takes the head office of the Western Générale, subsidiary of Alcatel holder of the group the Express train and of 40% of the capital of the Point, becoming chairman of the Express train and the Point, and administrator of STOCK communication (1991-1995).

After its departure of Alcatel, it is named vice-president for Europe of the group Quebecor which prints the Express train then.

Jean-François Kahn, which she knows since the time when she is in load of the communication of Alcatel, proposes to him the general position of director of Marianne and the Event of Thursday. She is then managing director of the Nouvel Economist thanks to her friendships with Paul Dubrule and Gerard Pélisson, cofounders of the group Accor who repurchase the totality of the capital with Georges Ghosn and with Fimmopresse.

She became in 2000 managing director of the publications within NMPP.
