Francoise Gadbois

Canadian pianist born with Montreal, Francoise Gadbois obtained in 1996 a diploma for the occupation of concert performer to the Université of Montreal under the direction of Madam Natalie Pepin, for then improving in modern music with the founder of the Nouvel Modern Unit, Madam Lorraine Vaillancourt.

Gaining several contests of which the Contest of music of the Quebec in 1992 and the Contest of music of the Canada in 1994, where it gained the purse Lucille Brassard to have obtained the highest note of the contest, Francoise Gadbois occurred as soloist in several international festivals of which those of Montreal, Zielona Gorà in Poland, Festival of the Town of Paris, Strasbourg, “Musica Riva” Festival in Italy, the estate venezuelana of Caracas, Ravinia Festival, London Promenades.

Being produced with many recoveries in Canada, in Swiss, France, Italy and Poland, it has with its credit several creations of which the first world one of a work of Górecki and the first North-American ones of Sciarrino and Goubaïdoulina. In addition to to have recorded two CD, it took part in several recordings for the radio and the television whose measuring entitled “Gorecki has Montreal” carried out by the Polish Télévision.

It was the titular organist of the Saint-François Parish in Montreal and assistant at the University of Montreal, the Academy Santa Cecilia in Rome and the Festival “MusicaRiva” with Riva del Garda in Italy.
