Francoise Christophe

Francoise Christophe is a French actress born in Paris on February 3rd 1923.

After studies of dramatic art under the direction of Rene Simon, it follows the courses of Lucien Nat to the Théâtre Montparnasse. In 1941, it enters to the Conservatoire where it obtains a second price of comedy.

It makes some appearances in films of Henri Decoin ( Premier go and Love match ), then takes down its first great role in 1946, in Fantômas , realized by Jean Sacha, where it incarnates the Daniloff princess.

With the theater, with the cinema and on television, it specializes in the roles of aristocrats. Member of the French Comedy in 1948, it plays of the parts of Musset, Giraudoux, Molière, Edmond Rostand but also of the comedies.
